I'm Mary Kate and I am a mental health therapist providing therapy to adults and couples throughout the Greater Boston area and Massachusetts.
Over the past 15 years in the field, I have witnessed the powerful and healing impact therapy has on individuals and couples. I have seen individuals live more meaningful and content lives due do the therapeutic process. My goal as a therapist is to provide a safe, supportive, and non-judgmental space where we can work through emotional challenges.
I am aware of the forms of discrimination and strive to create an inclusive and safe space for everyone I work with!

My therapeutic style is solution focused, non-judgmental, and strength-based. I operate from a core belief: you are the expert of your own experience! I value your innate wisdom and enjoy utilizing a collaborative approach to therapy.
I utilize many techniques including dialectical behavioral therapy (DBT), acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT), and solution focused therapy. I find it very important to meet individuals uniquely where they are at and honor them as a whole person. Therapy is not a one size fits all - I take an individualized approach with each person.
For partner work, I work with people who are looking to improve communication, deepen and expand their intimacy, process and navigate life transitions, and more.
I have specific training in mindfulness stress reduction, meditation, breathwork, and distress tolerance skills. I usually incorporate these techniques in session.
