My name is Mary Kate Collins and I am a mental health therapist providing therapy to adults and couples throughout the Greater Boston area and Massachusetts.
Over the past 15 years in the field, I have witnessed the powerful and healing impact therapy has on individuals and couples. I have seen individuals live more meaningful and content lives due do the therapeutic process. My goal as a therapist is to provide a safe, supportive, and non-judgmental space where we can work through emotional challenges.
I am aware of the forms of discrimination and strive to create a inclusive and safe space for everyone I work with.
My therapeutic style is solution focused, non-judgmental, and strength-based. I utilize many techniques including cognitive behavioral therapy, acceptance and commitment therapy, and solution focused therapy. I find it very important to meet clients uniquely where they are at and honor them as a whole person. I take a individualized approach with each client.
I have specific training in mindfulness stress reduction, meditation, and breathwork. I usually incorporate these techniques in session.
